Sup Fu? LIVE #1 - DJ Baby Yu

Sup Fu? LIVE is a series of mixes recorded live and direct at Sup Fu? Saturdays via Fortune Sound Club’s renowned Funktion One sound-system. Featuring the world’s best DJs on rotation with local heavyweights, the mix explores a wide vary of musical flavours and is released every month.

Kicking off our Sup Fu? LIVE series, we have Toronto bred and Atlanta’s best kept secret – DJ Baby Yu behind the 1s and 2s! Baby Yu is no strange name to the hip hop scene for the last decade. From hosting Atlanta’s hottest radio shows to sharing weekly residences with So So Def don Jermaine Dupri, he’s every rap superstar’s go-to-DJ.

Between producing original dub plate mixes as The Remix Kid and collecting a stack of awards with titles too fancy for his humble taste, Baby Yu’s been the touring the world with Snoop Dogg, The Game, Sean Paul, Young Jeezy and spun at after parties for Kanye West, Diddy, Pharrell, Jay-Z, Drake and every hip hop icon under the blue moon! Rocking dance floors from New York to Tokyo, he was at Sup Fu? Saturdays on October 6th to show us how to move our feet with Marlon J English on the mic. Enjoy this smooth mix of 90’s hip hop and electro with a dabble of remixes from Justice, La Roux, Calvin Harris to his own bumping rework of The Weeknd. Enjoy!
