This is the first in a series of quarterly installments, hosted and curated by Skratch Bastid himself, that will focus on collaborations with other DJs, producers and musicians from around the world. The three music lovers will present a partly rehearsed, partly freestyled performance offering a special club going experience that will be enhanced by adding interactive visual aesthetics. DJ Ayres 'Live' at Home Pt. 26 Mix

'Like everything, I really over-thought this mix. These days I do most of my mixes in Ableton, cutting and pasting in tracks, editing the intros and outros to mix perfectly, which takes out any room for human error. It's a hell of a lot faster this way, so doing a Live At Home was a return to the old way of doing things, and while working with Serato and a Pioneer 800 does make things a little easier than 12" records and the shitty Numark mixer I had in '96, recording live still means taking that leap of faith when you hit record. I felt pretty happy with the second take so that is the one you'll hear. In terms of selection, these are all songs I don't usually get to play in primetime DJ sets, but I wanted it to still feel like a party. Some funk, soul, disco, hip-hop and a little bit of house at the end. I hope y'all enjoy it.'

White Light 18 - Neoteric

"It's been amazing to see this series blossom into what it has become! My last White Light Mi (Vol. 5) was one of my favourite mixes that I've ever done, but I wanted to go deeper on this one to really catch the 'Night Driving / Zone Out' vibe. This one is much less vocal, way more mind trip and features some very strong productions from acts who are really pushing this sound. This is pretty heady, moody stuff and the vocals that were picked resonate strongly with emotion. I hope this mix strikes a nerve and is the cosmic soundtrack along your ways. Krazy Baldhead (Ed Banger)

Krazy Baldhead, 34 years old, child of the south of France who became a Parisian, jazzman (10 years at the music academy) and sometimes sound engineer for a radio in prison. He bought his first machines in 1998, groped around, and then decided to become a full-time
musician in 2002. He still had a barbaric pseudonym when he sent his demo to Pedro Winter, who saw in him a good mid-tempo alternative for his quite young label Ed Banger Records.

Har Mar Superstar have appeared at SXSW, CMJ, Coachella and more. They also have a new album called Dark Touches for the first time since 2004 and currently touring it in Europe. They put on a really wild show, similar to that of Les Savy Fav. This should not be missed!
